It is the government's responsibility to protect its citizens. My view is that this responsibility is the same whether a citizen is being attacked by a foreign soldier, a street criminal, or a virus.

The Affordable Care Act should be fully implemented and as your congressman I will actively pursue ways to improve it. The long-term budget issues are primarily health-care cost issues. The ACA is the most important deficit reduction tool available.
